What is the expected time commitment?
We offer flexible volunteer opportunities. Whether you have a few hours to spare during a site launch sprint, want to intern with us, or want to contribute on an ongoing basis, we welcome your support.
Is volunteering remote-friendly?
Yes! Our team operates entirely digitally, from around the globe. You can contribute from anywhere using collaborative tools like Google Workspace and Slack.
Do I need prior experience in climate work?
Not necessarily! While a passion for environmental impact is key, we welcome volunteers with diverse skill sets—from web design and marketing to writing and logistics—who are looking to apply their talents to climate solutions. We provide mentorship and onboarding.
Is this a paid opportunity?
Bumprints is a volunteer-led project at this stage, so we’re not able to offer payment. But we are excited to make this a meaningful and rewarding experience. Volunteers gain hands-on experience, LinkedIn recognition and testimonials, and a real-world portfolio of impact-driven work. References when requested. Potential for future paid roles as we secure funding
Can I include my work in a professional portfolio?
Absolutely. We encourage our volunteers to highlight their contributions, strategic recommendations, and design work on LinkedIn, resume profiles, or personal portfolios.
What’s the onboarding process?
- Fill out our Volunteer Form
- Brief intro call with the relevant team lead (15–30 mins)
- Documentation & access setup (Slack, Google Workspace, etc.)
- First project kicks off within 1–2 weeks
- We pair you with a mentor for your specific role
